Seeing as it is nearly Christmas, I thought I’d rehash last year’s WPY Christmas Program for your viewing pleasure. Tomorrow night we will again perform at the Hotel Riviera with a new choir and new songs. Should be good!
Oh the memories!
I’m not overly a fan of Christmas and all the hype that goes with it, but I do recognize that it is a chance we can take to tell people about our Saviour at a time when they may be more open to it than at other times.
Christ came to save us. He humbled Himself and came to this dark world, far from the glories of Heaven, because He loves us and wants us to be with Him. If we choose, He can be born again in our hearts and transform our life to reflect His beautiful life and fit us for eternal life with Him. We don’t have to be clean and perfect already to let Him in. We only have to choose to let Him in and He will come in and clean us up from the inside out.
“The plan of beginning outside and trying to work inward has always failed and always will fail. God’s plan with you is to begin at the seat of all difficulties, the heart, and then from out of the heart will issue the principles of righteousness; the reformation will be outward as well as inward.” ~ EGW CDF p35 ~
“As the leaven, when mingled with the meal, works from within outward, so it is by the renewing of the heart that the grace of God works to transform the life. No mere external change is sufficient to bring us into harmony with God. There are many who try to reform by correcting this or that bad habit, and they hope in this way to become Christians, but they are beginning in the wrong place. Our first work is with the heart.” ~ COL p97 ~
Will you let Him in today and every day?
